Dee & Dee Brown LLC is a veteran-owned, mother–daughter business founded by Donnetta and Dominique Brown. We bring together military experience, a career in public education, continuing college studies, and the everyday work of running a resale business.
For us, being veteran-owned means carrying responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to service into this next chapter.

The Service Behind Our Business
Donnetta Brown honorably served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant, working in administrative support for air cargo operations. Her service included expert marksmanship qualification.
Military work required preparation, clear communication, accurate information, and follow-through. Those habits remain relevant when we organize inventory, prepare listings, answer questions, and manage our business responsibilities.
Discipline That Carries Forward
Training taught Donnetta to keep moving through unfamiliar challenges, work with others, and take responsibility for the task at hand. We apply that mindset by breaking larger goals into manageable steps and reviewing what needs improvement.
A New Chapter Built Through Experience
After her military service, Donnetta spent approximately 30 years working with Ann Arbor Public Schools. Service, organization, and commitment remained central to her work.
Later, serious health challenges and rehabilitation changed what the future could look like. Rebuilding meant finding a path that could draw on her experience while making room for new possibilities.
That path brought Donnetta back to college alongside Dominique and connected their education with the business they were building together.
Two Generations. One Shared Purpose.
Veteran-owned describes Donnetta’s military connection. Family-operated describes the partnership she and Dominique bring to Dee & Dee Brown LLC.
We study business, entrepreneurship, and related subjects at Washtenaw Community College while applying what we learn to resale, customer communication, content creation, and business organization. Each of us contributes to the work and the decisions that shape our next steps.
