Still Showing Up: From Air Force Service to Building Something New

There are two versions of me in this photo. One is a young woman in uniform—serving as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. The other is who I am today.
  • Still here.
  • Still pushing forward.
  • Still building.
A lot has changed between those two moments. But one thing hasn’t. I show up.

The Discipline Never Leaves You

The military teaches you something that doesn’t go away—discipline. You learn how to show up whether you feel like it or not. You learn how to move forward even when things aren’t perfect. That mindset didn’t stay in the Air Force. It came with me into every season of life.

Life Didn’t Get Easier

After my time in service, life came with real challenges. Health issues. Responsibilities.
Moments that could have easily made me stop. And to be honest—there were times when I did have to pause. But I didn’t quit.

Building Again — The Right Way

When I came back to reselling and started Dee & Dee Brown LLC with my daughter, we made a decision:
  • We weren’t going to do this halfway.
  • We were going to build it the right way.
  • With systems.
  • With structure.
  • With consistency.
Because showing up without a plan leads nowhere. But showing up with intention? That changes everything.

What “Still Showing Up” Means

It doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means:
  • You keep going even when progress feels slow
  • You show up even when nobody is watching
  • You build even when results aren’t immediate
That’s what this moment represents. Not just who I was… But who I decided to keep being.
This isn’t a finish line. This is a continuation. The mission didn’t end—it evolved.
And today? I’m still building. If you’re trying to build something of your own—especially in reselling—you don’t need more motivation. You need a system.
